So we are using GTA 5 For Super Low PC's mod and using Super Low Settings with HD Low End mode to make your game playable. You can use gamebooser to gain some extra fps, but its completely optional.
Hey guys,i just want to ask for your help!I have a pretty low end PC,my specs are:AMD Athlon X2 340 - 3,2 GhZ - 2 Cores2 GB DDR3 1600 MhZ - DualChannel500 GB HDDAsus Nvidia GT 610 2 GB OC SilentEdition350 W PSUnow i've seen ppl running it on similiar specs with 23-27 fps on everything turned down.i've tried Ragnos's low end patch, wich by the way doessnt do jacksh.t.only changes my PC's resolution(or maybe its just doesnt work with 3DM version)i have everything on lowest possible.even the shadows are turned off! I have even tried messing with the nvidia control panel, but nothing! Iam usin the latest drivers, and the latest patch and crack!here is how my settings.xml looks like:and the game is unplayable for me.specially at day time.i dont care if it looks like sh.t,i only care about a stable framerate!i dont have any money to upgrade my PC(i know i have to,but i just cant right now)i ran a lot of games with that system. For ex.:FIFA 14 - maxed out 60 FPSMax Payne3 - medium-high 30 FPSGTA IV medium high(with ENB) 28-30 FPSLA Noire - medium 30 FPSNFS Most Wanted(2012) - medium 30 FPSand etc.so please, help me.iam dying to play this game.and i would buy it if i would be able to reach at least a stable 22-25 FPS!any advice would be appriciated!thank u!. Dual core cant be the problem, like i said.there are a lot of threads, videos about running it with a dual core.even with worse dual core then mine.and i tried my borthers 4 GB stick in it(so i had 6 GB RAM)and it changed.well we can say nothing.(but it was the 1st version of the crack with no tweaks and such)i tried messing with the v-sync too but nothing.i would be curious how would it be possible to lower the resuliton to 640x480 or turn off reflections completely,or turn down the draw distance.i think that would really improve my FPS. I finished the game on AMD Athlon X2 250 2.5 Ghz(which is worse than yours) but have 4GB Ram DD3, and HD 6670 1GB DDR5 and a '500W' PSU (not even developing 400W tbh).
It's either your RAM or your GPU. I've played with little lag and achieved 45-60 FPS at night (player on Normallow in GTAV standars with 1300x768, without the low-end pc mod thing),and it's working fine during daytime too. GTA-V Is the best optimized game ever try a fresh windows install maybe? Have you updated your GPU drivers to the BETA ones that have the GTA-V optimized? Here's another thing. If your GPU has a heater than you might want to take a look at the cooling and/or remove the dust (if any) use GPUtemp to check your GPU Temperature. Either way dust can make your PC very hot thus not allowing you to enjoy the full power of your PC). Also it's important how fast your HDD can read/write, mine has 7200 rpm with a 64MB Buffer and it's also SATA3(Sata matters - 600MB/s sata tranfer rate).
